Hello everyone! Well, data recieved from reputable meteorologists indicate that Chicago, Milwaukee, Detroit, Cleveland could be in for quite a show in the next week or so.
Accuweather is indicating that these areas could see some inches in snow accumulation.
What they describe is an Alberta Clipper coming through and spreading light snow over the MW.
However, heavy lake effect snow will then occur in Chicago and Milwaukee.
This is uncommon, and I am consulting the models to confirm this.
The GFS is indicating that the Alberta Clipper will come through.
As it comes through it will weaken and may not even reach Chicago.
After that, the GFS shows a light band of lake effect snow occurring then switching back to Indiana.
So, it comes down to the model versus the agencies.
Right now, I’m going to stay undecided.
More updates later.
